Welcome to the LATC

The Landlords Association of Tompkins County is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1990
to represent landlords and managers of rental and commercial property in Tompkins County, New York.

The LATC is dedicated to improving the professional skills of its members and to promote safe living conditions and quality housing for area residents.

Julia Mizutani- Cornell Law School- Know Your Rights Training with the Cornell Legal Information Project:

The Cornell Legal Information Project is a collaboration between Cornell Law School faculty, Cornell University law students, people with lived experience of migration, and community partners in preparing individuals, families, and organizations for possible immigration enforcement activities, training community members to react to enforcement activities through delivering “Know Your Rights” presentations, and informing community members on how to respond to arrests and detention. The project seeks to empower the community with accurate, updated legal information regarding immigration law and related enforcement issues.
